    US Oaks Games

The upper school will pause its regular academic schedule and come together and spend a day immersing our students in our school’s culture as we host our third annual “Oaks Games.”

The day will start with a word from Mr. Day, Mrs. Claywell and Mr. Fayton, outlining the goals and expectations for the year. Several school groups will present and discuss ways our students can get involved and bring a positive impact to the school community. Then, the entire upper school will connect as one while eating lunch together in various locations throughout campus.

Lastly, our students will participate in a friendly competition between advisories. This competition will challenge them academically, athletically and in the arts, all while bringing our community closer together. Students should plan to show their team spirit by wearing as much of their assigned color as possible—while ensuring what they are wearing is school appropriate. They will compete for the ultimate prize here at Norfolk Collegiate—dress down days! So please encourage your student to embrace this day and enjoy being part of the Norfolk Collegiate upper school community!
