MEET our Athletic Trainer, JUSTIN Seligman
In cooperation with a partnership with Bon Secours, Justin Seligman joined Norfolk Collegiate as athletic trainer in 2014. Seligman is passionate about athletic training and providing injury prevention through strength training and conditioning, concussion evaluation and treatment and several manual therapy techniques. His presence on campus helps to ensure that our Oaks are strong and healthy for their future athletic endeavors.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Cedarville University in Ohio and received a master’s degree in athletic training from Old Dominion University. While at Cedarville, Seligman obtained additional training as an EMT and as a personal trainer.
Before joining Collegiate, Seligman worked as the head athletic trainer at Salem High School and more recently at Smithfield High School, where he provided athletic training services for its athletic teams as well as pre-season conditioning sessions.
