Please note: Tuition for grades 1-12 includes lunch and activity fee.
Tuition for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten includes lunch, activity fee and snacks.  

   

Tuition Payment Plans 

Norfolk Collegiate School offers a variety of payment plans to suit your needs. Should you have any questions about tuition payment, please contact the business office directly at 757.583.0919. 

Norfolk Collegiate offers the following payment plans:

  • One Payment Schedule: One payment of total tuition is due by June 1. All payments are eligible for a 1.0% discount ONLY if received by June 1, 2017. Authorization for ACH or credit card payment is required. Payment for all other charges is due upon receipt of the monthly statement.
  • Two Payment Schedule: Payment on a semi-annual basis with 50% of the balance due June 1, 2017 and the remaining 50% due December 1, 2017. There is no discount with the two payment schedule. Authorization for ACH or credit card payment is required. Payment for all other charges is due upon receipt of the monthly statement.
  • Twelve-Month Payment Schedule: Payment on a 12-month basis requires twelve equal monthly payments due on the first day of each month, beginning June 1, 2017. ACH is the only payment option for the 12 month plan. Payment for tuition and all other charges is due upon receipt of the monthly statement.

All payments shall be made through FACTS Management. If you have not done so already, you may enroll in the FACTS system by clicking here.  

 

TUITION REFUND PLAN

The Tuition Refund Plan provides an allowance of tuition fees in the event of a student withdrawal for medical causes and in the event of withdrawal for other reasons or dismissal by the school in accordance with the terms of the policy. This plan is mandatory for those selecting monthly payment options. Cost is 0.70% of tuition charges.

 

OTHER FEES

Enrollment Deposit: A non-refundable enrollment deposit for grades K-12 is $500 for each student if the contract is received by the School within 10 business days of issuance. This deposit is applied to tuition.  A late fee of $200 will be assessed for a contract or deposit received later than 10 business days after the contract is issued.

Book Sales: Textbooks for grades 6-12 will be available by online purchasing through a third-party vendor. Additional details and exact procedures will be provided in the upcoming months.  Students in grades 6-10 are required to have a gym uniform, which is available at the school store, Collegiate Corner. Grades K-5 will be billed a book fee in August for workbooks, textbooks and consumable items.

Extended Care:  

Middle School:  No charge

Lower School:  

Registration Fee: $20 per child per year 

Lower School Daily Fee Structure: 

  • Morning Care $6

  • Afternoon Care $18

  • Early Release (11 a.m. & 1 p.m. dismissal) $35

  • Full Day $50 

* When participating in enrichment programs or school-sponsored clubs after school hours, the daily fee will be pro-rated to $12, if additional care is needed after the activity. Extended care fees will appear on your child's student billing statement monthly.

Learning Resource Center:  The charge for the LRC is $42 an hour or $21 per half hour for lower school students.  Middle and upper school students are able to take advantage of group sessions at a rate of $165 per student per month. 

Delinquent Accounts: All payments are due as outlined in the enrollment contract.  If payment is more than 10 days late, a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% annual charge) will be assessed. A $35 service charge will be assessed on any check or ACH returned for insufficient funds or for any declined credit card payment.  If financial accounts are delinquent, end of school year academic records and grades may be withheld and the student(s) may not be eligible for re-enrollment in the following school year.
