Walk through our halls on any day and you will hear faint singing, soft strings and the rhythm of the band. You may pass a studio of painters focused on their easels and brushes and colors, or hear the words of Shakespeare from our young actors. Performing or visual, the arts pervade Norfolk Collegiate School.

At our school, students are not only taught a lifelong appreciation for the arts, but they also have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of enrichment opportunities. Our diverse curriculum in the fine and performing arts, combined with the wide variety of extra-curricular activities, allows each student from kindergarten through twelfth grade to creatively express themselves.

Through the arts, every student is encouraged and challenged to develop a sense of self as a creative being, an appreciation of beauty and an awareness of the communicative power of the arts. In this atmosphere, our students flourish as they develop their talents in theater, music and the fine arts.
