I would like to invite you to join us for “An Evening with the English Department.” On March 28th, the Norfolk Collegiate middle and upper school English teachers will offer four workshops for current parents and grandparents. Each workshop is designed to give participants a taste of the wonderful discussions and activities that our students are having in English class every day. We will begin at 7:00 p.m. on the Upper School campus and each workshop will be finished by 8:30 p.m. If you are interested, please e-mail me with the name of the workshop you would like to attend. Take Life by the Throat: Read a Poem with Carolyn Miller—come discover why Robert Frost once said, “Poetry is a way of taking life by the throat.”
