Part II– reading in your textbook – should be completed by the first day of school.
Western Civilization (7thedition) by Jackson Spielvogel
Read the chapters 11 and 12 in your textbook on the Late Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
It would be very helpful for you to take some notes as you go. Much of chapter 11  should be review. You should take more detailed notes on the Renaissance.
 
Part III– Start thinking about this question:
 
To what extent was the Renaissance different from the Middle Ages?
 
Consider political,economic,religious,social,intellectual, andartistic aspects as points of comparison/contrast.
