Lower School Library
The mission of the Norfolk Collegiate Lower School Library is to instill the pleasure of reading and encourage the development of intellectual curiosity in all students.
A wonderful educational resource, the facility holds over 20,000 volumes on its shelves and offers access to a variety of print and online materials. The library supports the curriculum at each grade level and is used as a resource for in-class assignments, research projects and pleasure reading.

The library catalog, Destiny, may be viewed via computer or iPad at school.  Home access to Destiny is available with a student login.

The Norfolk Collegiate Lower School Library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the school year with the exception of early dismissal days, when it closes at 1 p.m. Any changes to these regular hours are posted and announced. Later hours may be arranged in advance.

Students in kindergarten may check out two books at a time, and all other students may check out three books of their choice, including any reasonable number needed for assignments from  teachers.

Parent volunteers are a wonderful asset to the Norfolk Collegiate Lower School Library, and donations to the library collection are always welcome. For further questions regarding book donations or volunteer opportunities, please contact the library staff.
